Position Overview: As a DSP, you will provide essential support and assistance to adults with developmental disabilities, helping them with daily activities and promoting their independence. Whether working in Group Homes or providing In-Home support, your role will be pivotal in enhancing the quality of life for our clients. You will collaborate with a dedicated team of professionals to create a nurturing and supportive environment that fosters growth and development.

About the DSP position…
Key Responsibilities:
Provide individualized support to adults with developmental disabilities.
Assist with daily living activities, including personal care, meal preparation, and medication administration.
Foster a positive and encouraging environment to help clients build confidence and skills.
Monitor and document clients' progress and well-being.
Communicate effectively with other staff members, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support.

Competitive Pay: Starting at $18.00 - $20.00 per hour, based on experience. After 90 days, employees with their own health insurance through a group life, MaineCare or TriCare are eligible for a $4 differential, i.e. $21.50 - $22.50 in just 90 days!

Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Compassionate and patient approach to working with individuals with developmental disabilities.

Experience in caregiving or support services is preferred, but not required.
