Casa, Inc.  (“Casa,” “we,” or “us”) is committed to providing a pleasant website experience.  This Privacy Policy describes Casa’s policies and procedures regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of your information on  www.casamaine.org and its related pages (collectively, the “Site”).  We receive information about you from various sources, including: web hosting analytics that convey information on general browsing activity as it pertains to our site, when you opt to sign up for our mailing list by entering your email address, or when you donate to us via the PayPal service.

Information you give us:

If you contact us through the Site we collect your first and last name, email address, and any information contained in the message(s) you send us.  If you sign up for our mailing list newsletter we collect your first and last name and your email address.

 

If you donate to us through our site, you are directed to a PayPal page through which you can donate.  When you visit the PayPal page you are no longer on our Site and PayPal’s terms and privacy policy will apply to your use of that page and PayPal’s site.  For more information about links to third-party sites, please see the Third Party Links section of this Privacy Policy. 

 

When you donate to us, we receive the following information from PayPal: email address.

 

Log Files:

We keep track of activity on the Site via log files stored on our web servers.  We use IP addresses to analyze trends, administer the site, track users’ movement, and gather broad demographic information for aggregate use.  IP addresses are not linked to personally identifiable information.  Additionally, for systems administration, detecting usage patterns and troubleshooting purposes, our web servers automatically log standard access information including but not limited to browser type, URL requested and referral URL.  This information is not shared with any third parties and is used only by us on a need-to-know basis.  We use your Site activity to assist us in offering you a personalized Web experience, assist you with technical support, diagnose problems with our server and administer our Site.

We use SquareSpace to create and help maintain our Site, and the Site uses cookies as described by SquareSpace on the following webpage:  https://support.squarespace.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001264507.  We use all of the kinds of cookies described on the linked page and have not disabled analytics or performance cookies.

Fundraising Activities
